Luck strikes three times
Jenny Cooper was lucky enough to win £10 playing the UK
National Lottery’s Lotto game a couple of weeks ago. She cashed
in her prize and bought some more lottery tickets and some scratchcards.
One of the scratchcards won a £1 so Jenny bought another lucky
dip lottery ticket for the Wednesday 19 April 2006 draw and she
won the jackpot of £2,470,696.
Jenny Cooper, her husband Gareth and daughter Hannah live in Cwmbran,
Gwent and are Wales’ third jackpot winners this year. As all
good lottery players should, they plan to buy a farmhouse, a luxury
car, VIP sporting event tickets, and jet off on a dream holiday
to Barbados. Gareth is already retired, but Deputy Headteacher Jenny
plans to carry on working.
On the day that Gareth checked his lottery ticket, Jenny had been
on the phone to the gas company to query a large bill they had just
received, but now, a mega shopping trip is planned instead. With
their numbers of 3,9,33,44,47 and 49 the couple plan to let their
five dogs join in the luxury living they are looking forward to
for the whole family in the future.
