EuroMillions Triple Rollover for Friday

 A EuroMillions triple rollover jackpot expected to be worth around £38 million will be the top prize in the game this Friday 03 February, giving EuroMillions fans a particularly exciting start to the second month of the year. The results for the last game of January (on Tuesday 31) were 09, 34, 38, 43 and 45, with the numbers 02 and 04 being drawn as the Lucky Stars. Although nobody won the jackpot in that game, one player did win £1 million by matching the Millionaire Raffle number SCJ109157, and more than 1.56 million players won a EuroMillions consolation prize.

Lotto Jackpot Hit for Six

 No fewer than six tickets won the Lotto jackpot on Saturday 28 January. The jackpot was worth £3,964,818 so each of the six winning tickets has landed an equal share worth £660,803. The numbers that saw the Lotto jackpot hit for six were 10, 12, 25, 28, 31 and 40, and the Bonus Ball – which wasn’t required for the jackpot itself – was number 01. With five out of six main numbers all falling in the ‘days of the month’ range of 01 to 31 it probably wasn’t surprising that the jackpot was won, but having six jackpot winners is still quite an eye-catching outcome!

EuroMillions Players Hit the Bullseye

 Gareth and Catherine Bull lived up to their surname last Friday 20 January by hitting the EuroMillions jackpot bullseye – an achievement that won them £40.62 million. Gareth, who is as a self-employed builder, had made a spur-of-the-moment decision to buy a Lucky Dip ticket after rain disrupted his work, and that spontaneous act has changed his life – and that of his family – forever. Gareth and Catherine, who live in Mansfield, are now the seventh biggest lottery winners in the country, and the numbers that put them in that position were 02, 10, 22, 27 and 28, as well as the Lucky Stars 06 and 08.

New Lamborghini for Raffle Winner

 A Millionaire Raffle winner who didn’t claim his £1 million prize until more than two weeks after his number came up now plans to buy himself a new car, and it will be nothing less than a Lamborghini Spyder. Gavin Davies is 29 and lives in Neath, and he had purchased four entries for the EuroMillions game on Tuesday 27 December. His numbers didn’t fare particularly well in the EuroMillions draw, but one of his Millionaire Raffle numbers made Gavin a millionaire. Unfortunately, he didn’t think to check those numbers until 13 January.

UK Ticket Wins EuroMillions Jackpot

 A single ticket that was purchased in the UK won the EuroMillions jackpot last Friday 20 January, so somebody somewhere is £40,627,241 richer than they were last week. The EuroMillions results that made the win possible were 02, 10, 22, 27 and 28, along with the Lucky Star numbers 06 and 08, and those same numbers helped to create more than 3.38 million consolation prize winners. Those of you who haven’t yet checked your EuroMillions tickets might want to do so now just in case one of the lucky winners happens to be you!

Health Lottery Regular Player Promotion Launched

All eyes may be on the big £40 million jackpot in tonight’s Euromillions Lottery but another game has an increased jackpot tomorrow night – the Health Lottery is offering a whopping £250,000 jackpot, two and a half times the normal jackpot offered by this fairly new lottery game! EuroMillions Jackpot Cap Changes

In February 2012 the EuroMillions lottery game will make changes to the way the jackpot cap works. As regular readers will be aware, the jackpot cap is the level at which the EuroMillions jackpot cannot grow any further, no matter how many rollovers take place. Right now the cap is set at €190 million, and that cap is set to increase by €5 million if a €190 million jackpot is won. The rules concerning this cap and its ability to increase in size had been a tad confusing for some players, so the new rules will make things easier to understand.
