Lottery players who want to win a EuroMillions jackpot before the end of 2011 now have just one last chance to make it happen and that is in the draw this Friday 30 December. The EuroMillions results on Tuesday 27 December were 19, 21, 25, 26 and 44, with the numbers 03 and 07 appearing as the Lucky Stars. No ticket matched all seven of those numbers, so the final EuroMillions game of the year will offer a triple rollover jackpot which will be worth around £40 million.
Just one ticket matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win a prize at the second-tier level, and that ticket is now worth €1,090,269. Although that ticket wasn’t purchased in the UK, one player here won the even bigger sum of £1,000,000 by matching the Millionaire Raffle number GYQ687511. Five tickets won €72,685 (£49,495) each by matching the five main EuroMillions numbers only.
64 tickets matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win €2,839 (£1,951) each at the fourth-tier prize level, and more than 1.9 million other tickets won smaller consolation prizes that will no doubt encourage their owners to try and win even more this Friday.
For those players who like to follow our EuroMillions Statistics, the most overdue main numbers are currently 03, 13, 49, 08 and 36, whilst the most overdue Lucky Stars are 06 and 10. Although the coming jackpot has rolled over three times, the odds of winning it – or indeed any other EuroMillions prize – are exactly the same as in a regular non-rollover draw. That means you have a 1 in 116.5 million chance of winning the jackpot with every line of numbers that you play, and your odds of winning any prize at all with a single entry are a very impressive 1 in 13.
Buy your lottery tickets today if you want to take advantage of your last chance to win a EuroMillions jackpot in 2011, and don’t forget to play the midweek Lotto game as well – the Lotto jackpot on Wednesday 28 December is expected to be worth around £2.2 million. Good luck!
