I don’t believe it!
If you are travelling the USA, it might be worth buying a scratch
card lottery ticket in Osceola, Wisconsin. Six weeks ago an Osceola
resident claimed his second $1million win from a Hoosier Lottery
scratch card. He’d won his first $1m two years ago, and then
luck strikes twice as he wins a further million with Hoosier’s
$2 Million Bonus Spectacular Scratch-Off game. And now, another
Osceola resident has won a prize worth $500,000. Hers was a win
with a Wild 10’s scratch-card and Donna Adkins was determined
not to tell anyone until she had the cheque in her hands, from Hoosier’s
Headquarters in Indianapolis. First on her spending list is a birthday
treat for her three-year-old daughter.
Also in the USA, retired salesman Dan Casey, from Fort Pierce was
on his way to visit relatives when he stopped to fill up his car.
On the spur of the moment he bought a Mega Millions lotto ticket
and won $250,000. But, Dan didn’t believe he’d won until
he’d called the Georgia Lottery and they’d confirmed
he was a winner. He matched the first five of six winning numbers
and is now planning to buy a new car, redecorate his home, and maybe
take a holiday to Ireland.
