Lottery winner to buy top footballer

If you won the lottery, would you buy a football team? As a tongue-in-cheek idea, a Swedish lottery winner said he’d like to buy Zlatan Ibrahimovic for his local football team Visby IF Gute. The lottery winner, a man, won about £9 million on Sweden’s Lottery and his local football team Visby IF Gute are in the third division. Ibrahimovic, aged 24, usually plays for Juventus as a forward and was bought for £10 million - so even such a large lottery winner can’t afford him. A Swedish lottery spokesman said this was one of the more exciting things to have been requested by a winner, as Swedish winners’ wish lists tend to be slightly more boring, like holidays and cars.
