EuroMillions Superdraw Rollover Pushes Jackpot to £186 Million

EuroMillions Superdraw Rollover Pushes Jackpot to £186 Million
Updated: Friday 1st December 2023

The biggest EuroMillions jackpot of the year was put up for grabs in Friday’s Superdraw, but nobody was able to win the £171 million on offer. The jackpot will now roll over to an estimated £186 million for Tuesday night.

While every Superdraw offers a colossal jackpot, usually they are worth €130 million (around £111 million). The latest big event was particularly special as there was an extra €70 million in the pot.

The winning numbers drawn on Friday 1st December were 4, 10, 14, 38 and 50, plus Lucky Stars 9 and 12. Millions of players across Europe picked up prizes, but the jackpot remained just out of reach.

Go to the EuroMillions Results page for a full breakdown of all the prizes won in the UK. You can also find out the total number of winners for each category and see the winning Millionaire Maker code.

Record Win in Sight

A win on Friday would have made it the largest jackpot to be paid out this year, comfortably surpassing the £138 million that was split between three ticket holders - including one from the UK - back on 5th May.

Instead, the rollover has put it within sight of the EuroMillions record for the biggest prize in history. A UK player currently holds the record - £195.7 million, after the jackpot hit its limit (worth €230 million at the time) in July 2022.

The jackpot cap was increased to €240 million following that big win last year, and it is now poised to hit that limit. It may only take one more rollover on Tuesday for the jackpot to reach its cap.

According to EuroMillions rules, the jackpot can only stay at its cap for a maximum of four draws before it must then be won in the next draw. This sets up the prospect of a record-breaking win before Christmas, or perhaps even a thrilling Must Be Won draw sometime during the festive period.

If you want to try and become the next big winner, you can buy tickets from any authorised lottery retailer or choose your numbers online. Remember to then check your tickets after a draw to find out if you are a winner.
