Lottery players in the UK will get the chance to win the biggest lottery jackpot of 2013 thus far this Tuesday thanks to yet another rollover in the EuroMillions game at the end of last week. The EuroMillions results on Friday 14 June were 10, 25, 41, 47 and 48, with the numbers 06 and 10 being selected as the Lucky Star numbers. The jackpot had a final value of £111.78 million, so the top prize for the next game this Tuesday 18 June will be worth an estimated £122 million, which is approximately ten times bigger than a regular EuroMillions jackpot!
Six tickets matched all five main numbers as well as one of the Lucky Stars last Friday to win a consolation prize of €462,356 each, and the lack of a sterling figure means that none of those tickets had been purchased by a player in the UK. The good news is that four of eight tickets that won a third tier prize of £78,645 had been bought by UK players, and there were plenty more British winners at the lower levels. The total number of prizes won on Friday was 3,899,527, and the total amount of cash landed by tickets purchased in the UK was £6.81 million. A separate prize of £1 million was won by a player who matched the Millionaire Raffle number NTD172674.
The jackpot might have given players the slip in the EuroMillions game, but it was a different story in the Lotto game on Saturday night. The Lotto results on Saturday 15 June were 03, 04, 16, 20, 33 and 44, and the Bonus Ball number was 27. Three tickets matched all six main numbers to take down a jackpot worth £3,579,810, which means that the winning owners can now claim an equal share worth £1,193,270 each.
There were 19 Lotto tickets that matched five of the main numbers as well as the Bonus Ball number to win £57,972 each, whilst 539 tickets won £1,277 each after matching five main numbers only. At the lowest two levels, over 528,000 tickets picked up a prize of £53 or £10 each by matching four or three main numbers, and the next Lotto game this Wednesday 19 June will offer a brand new jackpot with an estimated value of £2 million.
The winning continued in the Health Lottery game on Saturday, with one ticket matching all five main numbers (03, 10, 21, 38 and 47) to land the best possible prize of £100,000. Over 12,000 other tickets won smaller prizes of £10,000, £250, £50, £20 or £10 each by matching fewer main numbers, with or without the Bonus Ball number 29.
All things considered, we think that last weekend was a pretty good one for lottery players, but the EuroMillions game this Tuesday could well make it look perfectly average. Head this way to enter your numbers online and one of your tickets just might be worth £122 million by the middle of the week! Good luck!
