Belgian Bonanza

A Euromillions jackpot worth €75, 753, 123 was won from the draw on Friday 30 March 2006. The single ticket winner of the jackpot is a couple from Belgium and it was announced by Belgium's Loterie Nationale. The jackpot had accumulated over six weeks and the winning numbers were 03, 20, 31, 45, 50, with Lucky Star numbers 6 and 7. The winners chose to remain anonymous but they were reported to be a typical Brussels couple, who managed to remain calm when they met with Lottery Officials to receive and discuss their massive win. At the moment the couple plan to carry on as normal and are still working, but, as regular lottery players, they must have plans for their winnings, which came from a selection made randomly by the computer and used to buy €12 worth of tickets. Their jackpot was the third biggest since the Euromillions lottery was launched in 2004.
