Wins for life
Three American dads found riches with the perfect father’s
day presents. The ‘prizes for life’ came from wins with
scratchcards. Salvatore Montesano, a father of seven children won
a prize of $5,000 a week for life, which could be worth $5 million,
from the New York Lottery. Then Christian Conrad received a scratchcard
as a gift from his father and won a prize worth $2,000 a week for
life. And Raymond Ciccariello is more than pleased with his $1,000
a week for life, from the lottery’s “Win for Life”
game.
Mr Montesano attended the news conference to announce his win with
his wife, and all seven children. He’d bought a $10 Set For
Life game scratchcard, as he’d had smaller wins with the game
before. Now, he plans to go on holiday, buy a trampoline for the
kids, go fishing, give his subcontracting business to his nephwes
and just work when he wants to. Christian Conrad’s win came
from a $5 ticket he’d been given as a present, something that
he and his family do regularly. With odds of 1:5.3 million he knows
he’s been lucky and hopes to help out his family, and return
to college.
