Jenni Falconer new lottery
show presenter
Jenni Falconer will be the new presenter for the live Lotto, Dream
Number and Thunderball draws broadcast on BBC television.
Jenni, who is from Glasgow, is already a familiar face on our television
screens. As the anchor of GMTV's Entertainment Today show, she has
interviewed a number of Hollywood celebrities, including Nicole
Kidman, Clint Eastwood and Jennifer Lopez.
She has also presented Holiday for the BBC and We Can Work It
Out for ITV. Most recently she was the champion of the BBC One show
Only Fools On Horses, which was organised in aid of Sport Relief.
Jenni will make her first appearance for the National Lottery on
September 23rd when she will appear on the celebratory extravaganza
Everyone's A Winner, which is to be hosted by Noel Edmonds.
As well as presenting the live draws for the National Lottery,
Jenni will be on our screens as the draw presenter for the new National
Lottery game show 1 vs 100, to be hosted by Dermot O'Leary.
And as if all of that wasn't enough, Jenni will soon be seen as
the character "Jenny" in a movie called Ecstasy, which
is the follow-up to the film Trainspotting.
"I am absolutely thrilled to be the new National Lottery
draw presenter and to be involved in what promises to be a really
spectacular show to celebrate National Lottery Day," Jenni
says.
"Having enjoyed the winning experience myself recently, with
Only Fools On Horses, I'm extremely excited to be involved in a
show which is all about creating winners."
Martyn Fox, who is Head of Broadcasting for Camelot, commented:
"We are delighted that Jenni is to present The National Lottery
draws. Jenni is a highly talented and experienced presenter and
already has a huge following. We are sure that she will herself
be a 'super draw' for National Lottery show viewers."
