A new style of draw was launched by the Lottery Operators in May 2002; these Bonus Draws seemingly replace the old Superdraws. They are made in addition to an existing Lotto draw, are 'free' for all participants in the main Lotto draw and are played for the Jackpot only.

Monday Spolier- 29th April 2006

No official reason for this bonus draw, but it is commonly believed to have been a 'spolier' for the immanent start of the Monday lottery. The guaranteed jackpot was £5 million.

This bonus draw was made on 1st June to celebrate the Queen's Golden Jubilee. The guaranteed jackpot was £10 million.

The Lottery Operators spent around £30 million rebranding the National Lottery as 'Lotto'. To celebrate this extremely good use of money they held three bonus draws on the same night, each for a guaranteed jackpot of £4 million.
