Contrast this with poultry worker Andy McAllister from Biggar, South Lanarkshire who says he’ll buy his council house, but only after the new Mercedes is parked outside. The ex-Army mechanic won £4.2 million as his share of a separate Euromillions draw where the jackpot was £17 million.
