Winning Lottery Habits
National lottery jackpot winners come in all shapes and sizes, but what really separates lottery jackpot winners from the rest of us, and can we learn from those differences to improve our own chances? We’ve identified five winning lottery habits that you might like to consider adopting...
1 – Play Regularly
Although there are a handful of Lotto winners who have won a jackpot on their very first attempt (or so they claim) the majority of jackpots are won by regular players. It therefore makes sense to play regularly so that you get at least two chances of winning every week.
2 – Join A Syndicate
Lottery syndicates win quite a few jackpots, and although syndicate members have to share the spoils with other members, getting a share of several million is far better than getting 100% of nothing. If there is a lottery syndicate at your workplace, consider getting involved.
3 – Be Random
The largest individual lottery jackpot wins tend to be won by lines of numbers that aren’t based on common picks such as birthdays, anniversaries and house numbers, so use random numbers (for example, a Lucky Dip entry) if you want to maximise your chances of having a bumper pay day.
4 – Play More Tickets
If you don’t join a syndicate you can improve your chances of winning by playing more tickets yourself. Why not skip buying your usual Sunday newspaper and buy an extra Lotto ticket instead? The newspaper will only end up in the bin anyway, and it won’t give you a shot at becoming a multimillionaire!
5 – Expect It To Happen
We don’t know why, but a large number of lottery jackpot winners say that they expected to win. This could be people talking with the benefit of hindsight, but since it doesn’t hurt to think positive you might as well expect success and enjoy the sense of possibility and excitement that the lottery offers.
Will adopting these five winning lottery habits prove to be the key that helps you unlock the door to a millionaire lifestyle? We honestly don’t know, but we certainly wish you the very best of luck as you try and find out!
